Cultural folklore and nature events scheduled in France

Various cultural and folklore-themed events are scheduled in France. At the Maison de La Bresse, artist Odile Germain will host a storytelling evening on September 18, 2026, as part of her ‘Les Esprits de la forêt’ exhibition. The event features contemporary children's literature focused on nature and the environment, including works by J. M. G. Le Clézio, Tony Durand, and Anne Herbauts.

Additionally, the Château de Guiry-en-Vexin is hosting ‘La Nuit des Fées’ (The Night of the Fairies) every Saturday from June 20 to November 1, 2026. Led by an elfologist guide, the park walks aim to connect visitors with nature spirits, including fairies and dryads, through themed storytelling and special effects.
