Cultural funding and program calls announced in Amberg and Kaiserslautern

The city of Amberg has announced that applications and nominations for the ninth annual Amberg Cultural Promotion Prize are open until December 31, 2026. The prize, which aims to recognize and financially support the development of young artistic talent, offers a total of 6,000 euros. This funding is provided jointly by the City of Amberg and Siemens AG.

To qualify, applicants must demonstrate exceptional talent in music, literature, film, performing arts, or visual arts. Candidates must be under the age of 27 by the application deadline and maintain a regional connection. Applications must be submitted in writing to the Amberg Cultural Office and include a cover letter, CV, artistic goals, and evidence of previous work.

In Kaiserslautern, the Cultural Department is calling for program proposals for the 2027 Long Night of Culture, scheduled for June 12, 2027. Artists, associations, and organizers must submit their contributions by December 15, 2026. Submissions should include the title and duration of the program, along with supporting materials such as logos and high-resolution images for promotional use.
