Cultural heritage and art institutions highlighted in Aeolian Islands and Greece

Archaeologist Maria Clara Martinelli has been recognized with the Premio Liparos 2026 for her 35 years of research in the Aeolian Islands. Her work focuses on prehistoric history, including studies on obsidian and sites such as Filo Braccio, and is closely tied to the Luigi Bernabò Brea Regional Archaeological Museum in Lipari.
