Cultural heritage and arts initiatives announced in Spain
Several cultural initiatives are being launched in Spain. In San Fernando, the City Council and the ASPA Association have announced the fourth edition of ‘Cita con la Arqueología’. This lecture cycle, running from October to May, features monthly sessions aimed at sharing knowledge about historical and archaeological heritage. The program begins on October 15 with Dr. Sebastián Celestino Pérez discussing discoveries at the Casas del Turuñuelo site regarding Tartessian culture.
Additionally, the Andalusian Association for the Promotion of Culture cREA is organizing ‘El Árbol de las Artes 2026’. This annual event takes place throughout October across the eight provinces of Andalusia, with guest activities also held in Barcelona and Castellón. The celebration includes various disciplines such as music, theater, and poetry, offered free of charge to promote culture as a social good.
