Cultural heritage and commemorations held in Rastoke and Zrin

Cultural and commemorative events took place in Croatia. In Rastoke, near Slunj, the Mill Days festival celebrated local heritage through traditional workshops, culinary tastings, and guided tours of the historic watermills and the Slunjčica river area.

In Zrin, a traditional pilgrimage marked the 83rd anniversary of the massacre of the Zrin people in September 1943. The ceremony included wreath-laying, prayer, and a mass led by Archbishop Đuro Hranić and Bishop Vlad Košić. During the service, Archbishop Hranić blessed a new bell at the memorial church, donated by an anonymous family from Bosanska Posavina.
