Cultural heritage and creative workshops engage children in Moldova and Romania

Cultural and educational programs are being held for children in Moldova and Romania to foster creativity and connection to heritage. In Chisinau, the ‘Acasă la Chișinău’ program, organized by the Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu Municipal Library, is hosting children from the diaspora, including those from the United States and Canada. The program includes visits to museums and the Guguță Puppet Theatre to help participants connect with Moldovan traditions, language, and history.

In Baia Mare, Romania, the Traian branch of the Petre Dulfu County Library hosted a monthly creative workshop. During this session, children participated in a manual arts activity where they created dreamcatchers using colorful threads, feathers, and various decorations to develop their imagination and fine motor skills.
