Cultural heritage events announced in Parma and Pisa

In Parma, the former Serre Petitot will open to the public on September 19 before redevelopment work begins. The site, located within the Parco Ducale complex, is slated to become the new Casa dell’Architettura and serve as the headquarters for the Order of Architects. The public event includes a lecture by Professor Carlo Mambriani on the building's history, which dates back to the 18th century when it served as a botanical garden for the ducal pharmacy.

In Pisa, the Pisa Scotto Festival will present the musical comedy ‘San Ranieri dell’Acqua’ on September 16 at Giardino Scotto. Directed by Marco Di Stefano, the performance explores the life of Ranieri Scacceri, the patron saint of Pisa, tracing his journey from youth to spiritual conversion. The production features original music by Carlo Marianelli and has already reached capacity for reservations.
