Cultural heritage events scheduled in Veneto, Italy

Several cultural and historical events are scheduled in the Veneto region of Italy.

The “Giovedì Treni!” series recently held its fourth session in Abano Terme, focusing on the history and recovery of historical rolling stock. The presentation was led by Antonio Castore of Fondazione FS. The next scheduled event in this series will take place on October 1, focusing on the Sulmona–Isernia railway line, known as the “Transiberiana d’Italia”.

Additionally, a conference titled “Il patrimonio termale euganeo” (The Euganean Thermal Heritage) is set for September 9 at the Orto Botanico di Padova. The event will explore the historical, archaeological, and scientific aspects of the region's thermal waters and biodiversity. Speakers include archaeologist Chiara Destro, Professor Nicoletta La Rocca from the University of Padua, and Fabrizio Caldara from the Centro Studi Termali “Pietro d’Abano”. The initiative is part of a regional project to promote Veneto's natural heritage.
