Cultural heritage initiatives expand in Paraguay and Argentina
The National Secretariat of Culture in Paraguay has announced a diverse agenda of cultural activities. This includes “Puertas Abiertas” tours at the Templo San Buenaventura in Yaguarón as part of the Tekorenda program, which focuses on the conservation and restoration of national heritage sites.
Other scheduled events include a performance by the National Orchestra of Popular Music at the Centro Cultural del Puerto and the “Embarcate - Vinilo Cooltural” fair, featuring vinyl, CDs, and cassettes. Additionally, exhibitions such as “Fragmentos para imaginar lo posible” and a photographic display of José Asunción Flores in Russia will be available at the Espacio Cultural Itaú.
In Argentina, the Aranguren Municipal Historical Museum has seen significant engagement following its recent opening. Located in Entre Ríos, the museum has become a hub for local residents and visitors from surrounding areas like Paraná and Victoria. Officials noted that the space serves as a center for regional identity and memory, already hosting guided educational visits for local primary school students.
