Cultural heritage projects advance in Suwałki and Świdnica

In Poland, new cultural projects are advancing in Suwałki and Świdnica. An agreement has been signed for the construction of the Yatvingian Archaeological Center in Szwajcaria. The project, awarded to the company MÓJ DOM Z DREWNA Tomasz Waszkiewicz, will feature a reconstructed early medieval Yatvingian farmstead consisting of four wooden buildings surrounded by a 2-meter-high palisade. The site will also include a new reception building with an information center, sanitary facilities, and parking. Construction is expected to conclude by the end of May next year.

Meanwhile, preparations are underway to establish a Brewing Museum in Świdnica. An agreement has been signed to conduct a technical inventory of a 19th-century malt house located on Kotlarska Street. Once renovated, the facility is intended to serve as a branch of the Museum of Ancient Commerce, dedicated to the region's historical brewing traditions. The site will also function as a conference space for historians and researchers.
