Cultural heritage projects announced in Voltaggio and Arcevia

In Voltaggio, the L’Arcangelo association has completed the restoration of the “Memorie del convento di Voltaggio” manuscript. The document, held at the Provincial Archive of the Capuchins in Genoa, provides essential insights into the religious, social, and cultural life of the convent and its surrounding territory over several centuries. The restoration was carried out by the Laboratorio delle Scuole Pie in Genoa, supported by 5x1000 funds and a donation from the Rotary Club Genova Nord.

In Arcevia, a new contemporary art museum installation titled “Mannucci: Fuoco e Genesi” has opened at the cultural center located in the former San Francesco convent. The exhibition focuses on artists closely linked to the area, specifically Quirino Ruggeri and Edgardo Mannucci. The collection also features works by Bruno d’Arcevia, Giuseppe Gigli, and Enio D’Incecco. The project, which includes a guide catalog by Lorenzo Fiorucci, was funded by the Fondazione Carifac.
