Several cultural heritage events are scheduled for Sunday, September 27, in Italy, focusing on religious history and archaeological discoveries.

In Piacenza, a guided tour titled ‘Giustina: una santa, due luoghi, una storia’ will take place at 15:30. Part of the ‘Una Cattedrale, una Città’ series, the tour explores the connection between Saint Justina of Antioch and the city, tracing the history of her relics which arrived in Piacenza in 1001. The route covers the Piacenza Cathedral and the Kronos Museum.

In Cittiglio, the Romanesque Church of San Biagio will host two guided tours at 10:30 and 16:15 as part of the ‘Stì Laven Insem’ event. These visits will highlight archaeological findings from studies conducted between 2006 and 2022, including research by the University of Insubria regarding burials found within the church and its former cemetery.
