Cultural highlights feature musician Marillon and Mayotte artist Daday

Various cultural segments highlight diverse artistic and academic achievements. Musician Guilhem Marion, based in Florac, is preparing for the December 4 release of his debut album, which was composed between New York and the Cévennes.

In Mayotte, artist Daday has released a new festive track titled ‘Bogôssi’. The song draws inspiration from traditional Mahoran wedding celebrations and incorporates elements of reggae-dancehall, RnB, afrofusion, and zouk. The accompanying music video features a colorful aesthetic and an all-female orchestra.

Additionally, researcher Océane Dos Santos, a graduate of the University of Toulouse, presented a study regarding the Takh association. Her work examines how the organization, which has worked for over thirty years to conserve Przewalski's horses on the Causse Méjean, integrates into the local territory and is perceived by local stakeholders.
