Cultural initiatives feature pop art in Spain and traditional music in Peru

The 'A pie de calle' cultural project, led by Manuel Portero Laguna, is featuring a graphic work by pop artist Eduardo Úrculo. The piece, a 50 by 40 centimeter print created in the 1980s, is currently on display in the window of the Nude establishment at Puerta de Aguilar and will remain visible until the end of the month.

In Lima, the 'Colectivo Cultural: Ruta de la Jarana', directed by Francisco Flores, has organized a street event for Saturday, September 5. The initiative aims to promote Lima's traditional cultural expressions, including vals jaranero, canto de jarana, and marinera limeña, through spontaneous performances in the Historic Center. The event will feature musicians and dancers at various locations, including Plazuela de Santo Domingo and Hotel Bolívar, with free admission for the public.
