Cultural initiatives held in Nusco and Avigliano

Various cultural initiatives have taken place in the Irpinia region of Italy. In Nusco, Bonaventura Marino presented his book, ‘La forza dell’Alba’, at the Misericordia headquarters. Promoted by the Casa di Giuseppe Casciaro – Officina Culturale, the event served as a reflection on memory, family, and the historical context of the region, including the 1980 earthquake and the social transformations of the 1970s.

In Avigliano, a youth-led cultural event was held along Via Roma. Organized by Gioventù Studentesca in collaboration with the Centro Culturale ‘Francesco Colucci’ APS and supported by the Municipality of Avigliano, the initiative featured various young talents. The event included musical performances on instruments such as the cello, piano, and saxophone, as well as poetry readings, painting, and photography, aimed at showcasing local youth creativity to the community.
