Cultural initiatives launch in Jaén and Cáceres

Various cultural initiatives are taking place across Spain this autumn. In the province of Jaén, the ‘Octubre Cultural’ program is focusing on the European Heritage Days under the theme ‘Heritage at risk: revive, resist and reimagine’. The program includes archaeological, historical, and industrial tours, as well as the ‘Open for works’ initiative, which allows public access to restoration and conservation processes in sites such as the Villa Romana de Bruñel and the Cástulo archaeological complex.

In the province of Cáceres, the eighth edition of the ‘Ritmo y Cadencia’ program is scheduled for October and November. Supported by the Diputación de Cáceres with an investment of 78,000 euros, the series features 17 performances across various towns. While primarily focusing on flamenco and copla, the lineup also includes jazz and fado, featuring artists such as the Luis Verde Quartet and Teresinha Landeiro.
