Cultural initiatives launch in Tenerife and Santander

The Fundación CajaCanarias has introduced ‘Sala Abierta’, an initiative designed to revitalize exhibition spaces. Taking place on October 8 and 9 at the Espacio Cultural CajaCanarias in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the program aims to facilitate dialogue and engagement between the public, students from the Faculty of Fine Arts, and artist Maï Diallo as part of the ‘Corpus Foraminis’ exhibition.

In Santander, the Faro Santander museum, housed in a building designed by architect David Chipperfield, has completed its first month of operation. The center currently features three major exhibitions: Masterpieces from the Banco Santander Collection, Modern Mexico from the Gelman Santander Collection, and a study of Leonora Carrington’s symptomatic surrealism. The museum seeks to connect culture with the local territory through immersive experiences and participatory projects.
