Cultural institutions and music festivals expand in Switzerland

Ten cultural institutions from Geneva traveled to Zurich to present the city's diverse cultural landscape, including immersive international cooperation experiences, contemporary art, and specialized spaces for music, dance, and film. During a media event, Adrien Genier, Director of the Geneva Tourism & Congress Foundation, and Thomas Wüthrich, Director of Zurich Tourism, discussed the relationship between cultural ambition and tourism demand. The discussion highlighted how cultural institutions are increasingly targeting tourists, while tourism organizations are integrating cultural offerings into their market positioning.

In Interlaken, the 7 Vibes Journey has announced its first standalone four-day festival at Jungfraupark. Moving beyond its origins as a Zurich-based event concept, the festival will transform the former Mystery Park into a cohesive experiential world. The site will be divided into seven distinct areas—Float, Explore, Rise, Release, Beyond, Light, and Home—integrating electronic music with art installations, performances, and interactive elements to create a continuous fantasy environment.
