Cultural institutions expand community outreach through mobile programs and exhibitions

Cultural institutions in Mexico are implementing various outreach programs to bring art to local communities. The University of Colima's Museum Network has launched the “Museando en tu escuela” program, which brings exhibitions, cinema, and workshops directly to schools. The initiative recently visited Bachillerato 7 in Armería, offering students opportunities to engage with visual arts, clay modeling, and watercolor through guided tours and hands-on activities.

In Ciudad Juárez, the Municipal Center for the Arts (CMA) concluded its “De Oriente a Poniente” program with a collective exhibition at the Las Misiones Shopping Center. Organized by the Institute for Culture of the Municipality of Juárez (IPACULT), the event celebrated the 25th anniversary of the CMA. The exhibition showcased works by current students and alumni, highlighting the institution's role in developing local artistic talent over the past quarter-century.
