Cultural institutions in Catalonia announce open house events

Several cultural institutions in Catalonia are hosting special programming and open house events. The Sagrada Familia is offering 20,000 free tickets for its Open House days from September 24 to 27. Visitors can tour the Nativity facade, the interior of the Basilica, the museum, and the Passion facade, while also viewing the exhibition ‘La fuerza de un sueño compartido’. This year’s event includes a special display of sculptures intended for the future Chapel of the Assumption.

In Esplugues, the Museus d’Esplugues are celebrating the Festa Major de Sant Mateu with various activities. Can Tinturé will host open doors and family activities, including handmade handkerchief workshops. The Museu de Ceràmica La Rajoleta will also be open, offering tours of the former Pujol i Bausis factory and its unique ceramic heritage. Additionally, programs include guided visits to the work of architect Antoni Maria Gallissà i Soqué and a concert by the Societat Coral Centenària.
