Cultural institutions in Puebla and San Luis Potosí announce free events

The Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP) and the Museo Universitario Casa de los Muñecos have announced a free film cycle dedicated to the work of American writer and director Susan Sontag. Held at the Auditorio Manuel Toussaint in Puebla's Historic Center from August 25 to 28, the event features four titles: ‘Dúo para Caníbales’, ‘El Hermano Carl’, ‘Tierras Prometidas’, and ‘Unguided Tour (Letter from Venice)’. Admission is free, though capacity is limited to 60 people per function.

In San Luis Potosí, the Museo Universitario (MUNI) of the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí (UASLP) will host a ‘Museum Night’ on August 20 starting at 17:00. The event includes guided tours, exhibitions by Jorge Chávez, student works from the Artistic Production Laboratory, and performances by Denisse Contreras and the Nosotrxs collective. The evening will conclude with a musical tribute to Eydie Gormé and Los Panchos at an outdoor forum.
