Cultural institutions in Spain and Mexico mark anniversaries

Cultural institutions in Spain and Mexico are marking significant anniversaries. In Murcia, the gallery ‘La Innovadora’ is celebrating two years of operation with a collective exhibition titled ‘Dos años en marcha’. The exhibition, opening October 19, features a diverse range of disciplines including photography, painting, sculpture, and illustration. Notable photographers such as Alberto Schommer, Gabriel Cualladó, and Toni Catany are among the artists participating in the showcase.

In Mexico City, the Centro Cultural La Pirámide is celebrating 25 years of community-based artistic work. The anniversary festivities include multidisciplinary experiences, such as a sensory exhibition designed for blindfolded participants, and the installation of Braille signage to improve accessibility for the visually impaired. The celebrations conclude on October 17 with ‘El Sound está en la casa’, an event dedicated to Sound System music culture.
