Cultural jazz and dance events scheduled in Marília and Campo Grande

Various cultural projects are bringing jazz and performing arts to public spaces in Brazil.

In Marília, the 87th edition of the ‘Jazz à la Rua’ project will take place this Sunday, September 27, at Pátio Ecopark. The free event features the Banda Mahatma Groove, performing instrumental styles including jazz, fusion, and blues, with guest drummer Samuel Vicente. The performance is scheduled for 5:30 PM.

In Campo Grande, the ‘Sem Cerimônia ao vivo’ project returns to the streets after 13 years. Organized by Conectivo Corpomancia, the event will be held on September 22 and 23 at Praça Ary Coelho. The project integrates dance, jazz, and improvisation, featuring the EL Trio jazz group alongside dancers from the local ballroom scene and contemporary dance performers.
