Cultural literary events scheduled in Ferrara and Venice

Several literary and cultural events are scheduled to take place in Italy this September. In Ferrara, the Ferrara Pro Art association will host the “Ferrara in Libro” market at Galleria Matteotti on September 19. The event serves as a gathering for collectors, booksellers, and publishers, featuring literature classics and vintage objects ranging from the 1950s to the 1980s.

Additionally, the Venice Romance Village will be held at Forte Marghera on September 19 and 20, 2026. This event focuses on contemporary romance and fantasy genres, offering a space for authors, publishers, and readers to interact. The festival will include various talks and panels covering topics such as “romantasy,” the psychology of fictional characters, and specific sub-genres like sports romance.
