Cultural museum night events held in Asti and Velletri

Various Italian cities are hosting cultural evening events centered around museum visits and artistic performances.

In Asti, the Paleontologico museum will host “Notte al Museo: il tempo del mare” on Friday, September 11, at Palazzo del Michelerio. The event features a journey through the Pliocene era, using poetry from authors such as Homer, Emily Dickinson, and Alda Merini, accompanied by violin music by Andrea Bertino and narration by Patrizia Camatel. The program pays homage to the poet Giacinto Grassi and explores the prehistoric marine history of the region.

In Velletri, the fourth edition of “Musei di Notte” saw high participation on Friday, September 4. The event included guided tours of archaeological sites, such as the Tempio delle Stimmate, and a concert by the Ars Nova musical academy. The Civic Museums remained open until midnight to facilitate public engagement with local history and culture.
