Cultural music and multimedia festivals announced in Montescaglioso and Trieste

Various musical and multimedia events are being organized across Italy. In Montescaglioso, LAMS, in collaboration with the local municipality, is presenting ‘Immagini tra le Note’ as part of the Prospettive Music Festival 2026. This multimedia experience at the Abbey of San Michele Arcangelo features the Soundiff Ensemble and explores the intersection of cinema, poetry, and electronic music, including famous film soundtracks and original compositions by Nicola Monopoli.

In Trieste, the Teatri del suono festival returns from September 17 to 26 with the theme ‘Lontano’. Curated by Stefania Amisano, the festival serves as a sonic and human ecosystem involving music, performances, and installations. The program explores themes of distance across space, time, and culture, featuring diverse artistic practices and participants such as the Austrian Black Page Orchestra.
