Cultural music events scheduled in Łomża and Łódź

Several cultural and musical events are scheduled to take place in Poland.

On October 10, 2026, the Akademia Źródeł Foundation will host a gala concert titled ‘Młodzi Skierkowskiemu’ at the Witold Lutosławski Chamber Philharmonic in Łomża. The event commemorates the 140th anniversary of the birth of Father Władysław Skierkowski, a prominent ethnographer and researcher of the Kurpie region. The concert aims to integrate the folklore communities of White and Green Kurpie, featuring youth musicians from the Podlaskie, Mazowieckie, and Warmian-Masurian voivodeships.

In Łódź, the Łódź Inclusive Choir is organizing a free community event on September 12, 2026, at Altana Parku Źródliska I. The project, ‘Spontaniczny Inkluzywny Chór Łodzian’, includes two hours of vocal workshops followed by a 1.5-hour outdoor concert. The event is designed for residents aged 18 and older, regardless of musical experience, and is funded by the 2026 Municipal Microgrant Program.
