Cultural performances feature Nirvana tribute and Malagasy youth theater

The Spanish band The Buzz Lovers is performing in Mexico, delivering a tribute to the Seattle rock group Nirvana. The power trio aims to recreate the sonic and visual essence of the 1990s era through an interactive live performance that includes high-energy elements like stage invasions and audience participation.

In Spain, the production ‘El Sueño de Nirina’ is concluding its Spanish tour at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía in Valencia. The performance features 54 children and young people from Madagascar, presenting a 70-minute show through theater, dance, and music. Supported by Fundación Agua de Coco and Ópera Sin Fronteras, the work addresses social issues such as early school dropout, child exploitation, and climate change, providing a platform for the youth to share their lived experiences.
