Cultural performances held in Melpignano and Trani

Cultural events are taking place in Puglia, Italy, featuring prominent musical and theatrical performances. In Melpignano, the concert ‘Senza fine. L’universo di Ornella Vanoni’ is scheduled for August 10 at the Giardino del Palazzo Marchesale. Performed by Serena Spedicato and accompanied by the Orchestra Sinfonica di Lecce e del Salento, the program celebrates the career of Ornella Vanoni, spanning jazz, pop, and Brazilian influences.

In Trani, the Palazzo delle Arti Beltrani hosted the debut of the ‘Teatro d’Autore’ section with the performance ‘In fin dei conti. Capitoli di una messinscena’. Angelo Mellone, director of the RAI Day Time, performed a mix of spoken word and piano, drawing from his book to explore themes of identity and memory. The event featured an ensemble of musicians performing works inspired by Italian singer-songwriters and jazz influences.
