Cultural performances scheduled for November in Mexico and Argentina

In Mexico City, singer Rosy Arango, known as La Rosa Mexicana, will perform ‘Entre Rancheras y Catrinas’ at the Teatro Ángela Peralta on November 7. The show is designed as a musical offering for Day of the Dead, combining mariachi, dance, and traditional songs with artisanal figures like alebrijes. The repertoire includes 15 tracks such as ‘La Llorona’ and ‘Cucurrucucú paloma’ to honor family traditions and Mexican legends.

In Argentina, R&B and neosoul singer-songwriter Rocío Barboza will perform with her band, Las Flores, on November 8. The concert marks the conclusion of her first year performing in a full band format. The event will also feature an opening performance by Tomaco in a full band setting.
