Cultural performances scheduled for Viña del Mar and Ovalle

In Viña del Mar, the Teatro Municipal will host a free classical music concert titled ‘Dos pianos, un encuentro’ on Tuesday, October 20. The performance features South Korean pianist Seolhwa Kim and Chilean pianist Danor Quinteros. The program includes works by Mozart, Saint-Saëns, Debussy, and Ravel, serving as the conclusion to a piano cycle aimed at expanding access to classical music in the region.

In Ovalle, the Teatro Municipal de Ovalle will present the play ‘El vicio absurdo’ on Friday, October 16. Produced by Teatro La Provincia and directed by Rodrigo Pérez, the production stars Chilean actress Claudia di Girolamo as the British writer Virginia Woolf. The play explores the final moments of the author's life and marks a revival of a significant piece of national dramaturgy originally premiered in 1993.
