Cultural performances scheduled in Italy

Several theatrical performances are scheduled across Italy as part of regional cultural programs. In Cagliari, the monologue “(In)grato,” written by Antonio Ornano, Matteo Monforte, Simone Repetto, and Carlo Turati, will be performed at Teatro Massimo on October 27. Directed by Alessandro Nidi, the show explores themes of human fragility and the societal pressure to maintain a facade of constant happiness.

In Montalto delle Marche, the Sparse Plus Festival will conclude on October 30 at the Teatro Comunale della Fiaba e della Poesia with Davide Grillo’s monologue, “Come se niente fosse.” This performance, produced by Teatro Metastasio di Prato, addresses contemporary anxieties regarding job precarity and the search for meaning. The festival is part of a European project funded by the Creative Europe program, aimed at fostering community engagement through culture in local towns.
