Cultural performances scheduled in Tomelloso and Argentina

The theatrical production ‘La Molienda’, an ‘auto sacramental’ written and directed by Concha Sánchez, is set to be performed at the Teatro Marcelo Grande in Tomelloso. The play, which features over 50 artists combining theater, dance, music, and projections, is part of the 70th-anniversary celebrations of the Santo Tomás de Villanueva parish. While utilizing Baroque verse structures, the work addresses contemporary themes such as family, spirituality, and modern social contradictions.

In Argentina, the play ‘Hamlet se va de gira’, written and directed by Néstor Zapata, will hold its final performances on October 23 and 30 at the El Rayo theater. The production follows a group of forgotten marionettes who rebel against their creator to return to the stage. The play is the final production from the Arteón theatrical group and was noted as a highly awarded production in 2025.
