Cultural photography exhibitions held in Tordesillas and La Granja
In Tordesillas, the Asociación Fotográfica Ayer y Hoy has launched the ‘Tordesillas Comercial’ publication and the ‘La Sombra del Abandono’ exhibition. These initiatives aim to preserve the municipality's history by documenting former businesses and emblematic buildings, including those that have disappeared or fallen into disrepair, such as the Riera Marsá factory and the La Guía flour mill. The event also marked the 30th anniversary of the photographic association.
Meanwhile, in La Granja, the exhibition ‘Gaza, la mirada no silenciada’ is being held at the Casa de la Cultura. The initiative uses photojournalism to document the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, focusing on the impact of conflict on the civilian population. The program includes film screenings, debates on human rights, and cultural workshops, such as traditional Palestinian embroidery, to foster public reflection on the social and historical context of the region.
