Cultural programs announced for Piraeus and Patras

The Municipality of Piraeus has launched a series of free creative workshops for children and adults, scheduled to run until June 2027. Managed by the Piraeus Culture Department, the program includes activities such as painting, lace-making, weaving, Byzantine iconography, and creative writing. These sessions will be hosted at the Municipal Art Gallery, the Municipal Theater, and the Municipal Library.

In Patras, holiday celebrations are being relocated due to redevelopment works at Georgiou Square. The festive program, including Christmas villages and concerts, will focus on Psilalonia and Olga Square. Children's activities are planned for December 19, 20, 26, and 27, with the Christmas tree and manger expected to be placed in one of the primary squares.
