Cultural programs launch in Volos and Rethymno

The Volos Municipal Symphony Orchestra is launching its new artistic season at the ‘Vangelis Papathanasiou’ Municipal Theatre. Scheduled for October 10, 2026, the concert will feature violinist Simos Papanas as soloist under the direction of Ioakeim Baltsavia. The program includes Respighi’s ‘Ancient Arias and Dances’ and Vivaldi’s ‘The Four Seasons’.

In Rethymno, the theatrical group Theatrikos Periplos held a meeting at the Rethymno Exploratory Club to introduce its new educational programs. Led by Maria Kantife, the organization aims to provide systematic theatre training for children, adolescents, and adults, continuing a mission of fostering imagination and sensitivity through the performing arts that dates back to the 1990s.
