Cultural projects launch in Nova Gorica and Città di Castello

The “Fine del confine / Kromberk 2026” project is launching at the Kromberk Castle Park in Nova Gorica. This transborder multimedia land art initiative connects four parks across the Friuli Venezia Giulia region in Italy and Slovenia, including Adventure Park Trieste, Parco San Giovanni, Parco Basaglia, and Kromberk Castle Park.

Curated by Katarina Brešan, the project features artists from Italy, Slovenia, Mexico, and Argentina. The installations utilize nature, sound fusions, video projections, and performances to explore themes of overcoming geopolitical boundaries and the intersections between reason and madness, life and death, and reality and dreams.

In a separate cultural event, the 59th edition of the Festival delle Nazioni in Città di Castello, Italy, is concluding its tribute to German and Germanic-speaking cultures. The festival featured a visit from Benjamin Hanna, the Deputy Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Italy, who met with regional leaders in Perugia and Città di Castello to highlight cultural ties.
