Cultural summer festivals held in Düsseldorf and Wiener Neustadt

Various European cities are hosting summer cultural festivals to promote community engagement and diversity.

In Düsseldorf, the Haus der Kulturen is organizing a summer festival under the motto ‘Ein Düsseldorf, viele Kulturen’ (One Düsseldorf, many cultures) at the Hofgarten. The event features music, dance, African drumming, and various cultural contributions from local associations. The festival is supported by the city's Office for Migration and Integration and aims to provide a space for meeting and education, especially as the organization prepares to open its new location on Yorckstraße in 2026.

In Wiener Neustadt, the summer culture program drew approximately 5,000 visitors between July and early September. The program included theater, live music, and readings across the city center and various districts. The season will conclude with the ‘Bunten Stadtfest’ from September 10 to 12, before transitioning into the autumn cultural season, which includes the Bold Arts Festival and the Bösendorfer Festival.
