Cultural productions and festivities announced in Chile, Mexico, and Spain

Various cultural events and theatrical productions are scheduled across Chile and Mexico.

In Chile, the classic “La Negra Ester” returns to the Teatro Nescafé de las Artes starting September 10. Additionally, the musical “La Pérgola de las Flores” will be performed by the company El Retorno Biobío at the Teatro Biobío on September 4, 5, 11, and 12.

In Mexico, a new production of “El eterno femenino,” based on the work of Rosario Castellanos, is being presented at the Teatro Reforma. This production is a collaboration between the Secretaría de Cultura, INBAL, and the IMSS, aimed at recovering public scenic infrastructure. The play, adapted by Mariana Hartasánchez and directed by Mahalat Sánchez, runs through October 11, 2026. Meanwhile, Teppan Grill in Mexico City is offering a special four-course fusion menu combining Mexican and Japanese cuisines throughout September.

In Spain, Madrid is hosting various festivities and cultural activities in several districts, including theater performances at Matadero and the Fernán Gómez center.
