Cultural Tourism Exhibition held in Veliko Tarnovo

The 21st edition of the International Cultural Tourism Exhibition is being held in Veliko Tarnovo from October 7 to 9. The forum features over 40 exhibitors, including municipalities, institutions, and tourism companies from Bulgaria and abroad, such as Serbia, China, and Azerbaijan.

Ruse Municipality is participating with a dedicated stand to showcase its cultural heritage and modern tourism development. A highlight of their presentation is the ‘Garash’ cake, the city's culinary emblem, which drew significant interest during a local bites cooking competition. Local confectionery businesses supported the event by providing various sweets.

Kyustendil Municipality is also participating, emphasizing its thousand-year history as a cultural and balneological center. Their presentation focuses on the archaeological and numismatic heritage of ancient Pausia, featuring coins and artifacts from the Roman era. The municipality is promoting tourism routes that combine historical sites with natural mineral springs.
