Cultural venues in Correns and Nouméa announce upcoming programming

In Correns, France, the cultural venue Le Chantier is preparing its 2026/27 season following devastating mega-fires that impacted the Provence Verte region. New programmer Sylvie Aniorte Paz stated that the upcoming season will focus on solidarity and the theme of 'Nature' to help the community process the trauma of the fires. The programming will include workshops, concerts, and artistic residencies aimed at fostering dialogue and rebuilding community ties.

Meanwhile, in Nouméa, the city has launched a call for artistic projects to build the 2027 season for the Théâtre de Poche. Running from March to November 2027, the program seeks diverse performances across theater, dance, circus, music, and puppetry. The initiative aims to support local talent and provide a platform for both contemporary and classical performing arts.
