Cultural workshops scheduled in Brazil for October

Various cultural institutions in Brazil are offering specialized training workshops throughout October.

The Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil Rio de Janeiro (CCBB RJ) will host free workshops for women as part of the “Amazônicas: Poéticas femininas” exhibition. These sessions include an executive production workshop for visual arts exhibitions led by Stella Paiva on October 1 and 2, and a performance project creation workshop with artist Cristiane Martins on October 29 and 30. The programs aim to advance professional development in technical and artistic areas of the visual arts.

Additionally, Rocio Produções in Petrópolis is conducting dramaturgy training led by Carol Pitzer. This includes the “Ler Teatro - Aprimoramento” online cycle, which focuses on Latin American plays regarding dictatorships in the Southern Cone, and the “Escrever Teatro” in-person writing workshop, which covers character construction, dramatic action, dialogue, and narrative structure.
