Culture in the Park event announced for Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon

The Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council has announced the upcoming Culture in the Park event, scheduled to take place from Friday, September 11 to Sunday, September 13.

The three-day programme aims to celebrate the region's diverse cultural heritage through music, dance, food, and language. The festivities will begin at the Marketplace Theatre with a University of Ulster workshop focusing on Ulster-Scots and Irish language traditions.

On Saturday, the main event will be held at Lurgan Park, featuring performances by groups such as the Ravara Pipe Band, The Kilted Dance Company, and various international dance troupes. The event will also include live cooking demonstrations from local chefs and artisan markets. The celebrations will conclude on Sunday with cultural crafts in Banbridge Old Town Hall.
