Cumbria Chamber of Commerce Shortlisted for UK Chamber of the Year

Cumbria Chamber of Commerce has been named one of five finalists for the UK Chamber of the Year award, coinciding with the organisation’s 25th anniversary. The shortlist also includes chambers from Suffolk, Coventry & Warwickshire, West Cheshire & North Wales and Edinburgh.

The award, organised by the British Chambers of Commerce, recognises strength, innovation and impact across the network. Cumbria Chamber, currently described as the fastest‑growing chamber in the UK, will present its case to the judging panel on 21 September, with Managing Director Suzanne Caldwell and Head of Membership James Bridges speaking on behalf of the chamber. The chamber’s work includes the Cumbria Business Growth Hub, a programme of events and training, policy and lobbying activities, and delivery of the county’s Local Skills Improvement Plan. The winner will be announced later in the year.
