Cumiana: 43-year-old man dies in skydiving accident

A 43-year-old man died following a skydiving accident near Cumiana, in the province of Turin. The incident occurred during the early afternoon, prompting friends on the scene to immediately call emergency services.

While waiting for medical personnel, the victim's friends followed instructions from the 118 emergency dispatch center to perform life-saving measures, including cardiac massage. The man was subsequently transported by helicopter to the CTO hospital in Turin. Despite continuous resuscitation efforts by medical staff during transport and upon arrival, his condition was irreversible, and he passed away shortly after reaching the hospital.

This tragedy follows several other fatal skydiving incidents reported in Italy in recent years, involving both civilian and military personnel in various regions.
