Cuneo Centro Neighborhood Committee calls for new members

The Cuneo Centro Neighborhood Committee has issued a call for citizens, specifically targeting young people, to run for positions in the upcoming elections scheduled for November 28 and 29. Interested candidates must submit their applications by October 31.

In an open letter, Committee President Andrea Giorgio Bonino emphasized the importance of active participation to address local issues such as urban decay, security, and the closure of local businesses. While acknowledging that the committee lacks significant formal powers and resources, the group highlights its role in facilitating community initiatives, including Italian language courses for foreigners, security meetings, and urban regeneration projects for the Corso Giolitti area.

An information meeting for those interested in joining is scheduled for Wednesday, October 28, at 18:30 at Famù al Parco in Parco della Resistenza.
