Cuneo citizens petition for Piazza Europa fountain reactivation

In Cuneo, the associations ‘Di Piazza in Piazza’ and ‘SOS Cedri’ have submitted a petition containing 500 signatures to Mayor Patrizia Manassero. The group is demanding the reactivation of the fountain in Piazza Europa, citing the area's state of abandonment.

Promoters highlighted several issues regarding the square, including cracked stone structures, insufficient lighting, and a lack of irrigation for green spaces. They also expressed concern over the health of local cedar trees, requesting more thorough inspections to ensure safety and plant well-being. The associations noted that previous requests to participate in cleaning collaborations were denied without convincing reasons.
