Cuneo launches inclusive football project for visually impaired youth

A new inclusive sports project is launching in Cuneo, offering blind and visually impaired youth the opportunity to participate in five-a-side football. The initiative features specialized equipment, including a sound-emitting ball designed to help players orient themselves through auditory cues.

Scheduled for September 12 at the San Paolo field, the event aims to improve autonomy, spatial perception, and social integration for participants. The program is supported by FISPIC-trained coaches and a network of volunteers, focusing on creating a stable and accessible sporting environment for families in the region.
