Rho: Via Lainate to close for final phase of water network works

Gruppo CAP has entered the final phase of a construction project to install a new water network along via Lainate in Rho. The sixth and final stage involves the complete closure of the road section between the via Tavecchia intersection and the Corso Europa traffic light near the Santuario dell’Addolorata.

The total closure is necessary because the narrow width of the roadway prevents the implementation of alternating one-way traffic. The works are scheduled to begin on September 1, 2026, and are expected to conclude by September 30, 2026. Local authorities have issued an ordinance to manage the closure, and public transport lines will be diverted via via Ratti to maintain access to nearby schools. While the road will be fully closed in this specific stretch, previous phases of the project have already been completed, and temporary road surfaces have been provided in other sections while awaiting final paving.
