Cuneo province leads Italy in PV capacity with new sustainability funding
The board of Fondazione CRC approved €2,152,500 in grants for 41 projects under the 2026 "Percorsi di Sostenibilità" programme. The funding is split into three measures: - Water, Climate and Energy – 25 grants totalling €1,666,500 to promote energy efficiency, renewable energy and sustainable mobility; - Circular Economy and Ecological Transition – 6 grants of €116,500 to support circular‑economy initiatives; - Biodiversity and Reconnection with Nature – 10 grants of €369,500 to protect biodiversity and foster natural reconnection.
Mauro Gola, president of Fondazione CRC, said the programme reinforces Cuneo’s position as Italy’s top province for photovoltaic capacity funded by the PNRR, and will drive significant investment over the next two years, boosting energy independence, supporting small businesses and delivering notable environmental and social benefits.
